Senior Technical Specialist, SW

TO WORK IN PONSSE TECHNOLOGY AND R&D TEAM IN FINLAND.

In this role you will be the product owner for connectivity or architecture related scrum team, you will be managing backlog, prioritize tasks and write descriptions for backlog items. You will ensure that the scrum team understands targets and organizes sprint planning and refinements. Evaluate the quality of implementation quality and technical readiness according to set requirements.
In this position scrum framework responsibility areas may include connectivity functionality and devices, machine control software and system architecture. Your work requires understanding of machine directive and related functional safety standards. You will work in an Agile environment and continuously refine priorities, define milestones and deliverables. Additionally, you will work and communicate with stakeholders and customers across the organization according to Ponsse values.

Required qualifications in this role:

  • A bachelors`s or master’s degree in automation, software engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in engineering roles, preferable in field of non-road mobile machines.
  • Deep technical knowledge of software engineering and understanding of the software development life cycle process.
  • Strong leadership and management skills are essential - ability to motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written in English and Finnish.
