The Senior Technical Writer is responsible for developing content used by internal and external customers. You will have the opportunity to use the latest authoring tools and technology to develop the content that helps scientists learn to use the instrumentation of tomorrow.
This position is part of the Technical Publications Team and will be located at our Singapore location (hybrid).

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

• Full professional proficiency in written English
• A bachelor’s degree, with additional training in Technical Writing/Information Development and experience writing about complex systems
• 5+ years of information development experience
• Experience using Oxygen or other XML authoring tools
• Experience working with component content management systems

• Independently write and edit manuals and online help for a variety of software and hardware products.
• Lead projects and provide guidance to team members.
• Interface closely with other team members during all phases of development to ensure that the information products are complete, accurate, and appropriate for the intended audience, including:
• Gathering information from specifications documents and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Ensuring documentation is appropriately reviewed by SMEs.
• Testing documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Responsibility for updating existing guidelines and work instructions. Ensure that documents conform to quality system and production standards by following all applicable quality procedures and work instructions.
