DESCRIPTION:

The Role
The Cracow Exploration team is exploring the Cracow tenements and district for gold. This includes existing Aeris mineral tenements and opportunities with other companies in the region.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

About You
Current C Class Drivers Licence.
At least 5 years’ experience in a Field Assistant position.
Core handling experience (markup, Ori lines, RQD, photography, cutting).
Supervision of drilling activities.
Communication with landowners about exploration activities and addressing concerns.
Experience in Cultural Heritage Surveys.
Knowledge of relevant legislation.
The Operation
Cracow is an Underground Gold Operation located about 3 hours’ drive from Bundaberg, Rockhampton, and Hervey Bay. Employing 220 people, Cracow is forecast to produce 55,000 ounces of gold this year.

Our FIFO employees are landing on the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane before 4pm and enjoying their Queensland lifestyle! DIDO employees must be located within 4 hours drive of site for fatigue management purposes

Responsibilities:

Supervise drilling operations in the field, including, track and pad preparation, drilling activities and rehabilitation.
Complete sampling operations at RC drill rigs, including sample collection, chip traying, sample dispatch, in a timely and accurate manner.
Complete diamond drill core-processing operations, including, core mark-up, core cutting, sampling, density determination, sample dispatch, data entry in a timely and accurate manner when working in the coreshed.
Assist the Field Supervisor with submission of work-plans to cultural heritage claimants and organised cultural heritage surveys. Ensure cultural heritage survey database is kept up to date.
Carry out the collection of geochemical samples, including stream sediments, soils, auger and shallow drilling methods such as RAB, vacuum and aircore.
