QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or similar field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, or a minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting through internships, research projects, or coursework is desirable.
• Familiarity with common laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation is advantageous.
• Prior experience within a food & beverage manufacturing company with HACCP, GMP & ISO 22000 certified environment, will be a bonus.
• Exposure in scaling up production in manufacturing plant, would be plus point.
• Available to conduct production trials outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, when required (with replacement leave provided as compensation for the extra hours worked).
• Strong project management skills with a commitment to fulfilling customer needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Work Location: Regional Technology & Innovation Centre, Biopolis, Singapore
Reporting To: RD&A Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for end-to-end New Product Development from concept development, product presentation to customer to product commercialization.
• Responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) process - communicate and co-ordinate with relevant functions on scale up/commercialization of new product.
• Record pilot, scale-up trials and commercial runs report and assist with troubleshooting during this process.
• Expand product knowledge by cross training in other technologies, assisting Commercialization team as needed.
• Assist Senior Scientists / RDA Manager on ad-hoc basis.
