We are now looking for a Senior Technology Engineer to our Engineering and Technology organization in Pulp & Paper segment.
In Pulp & Paper, our application expertise, latest technologies for data-driven process management, digital services and a complete chemistry portfolio help our customers enhance their sustainability, process efficiency, productivity and end-product quality.
In this position you contribute strongly in process technology development and engineering for safe, efficient and profitable processes in our global Process and Functional Chemicals production. The position is preferably based in one of our locations in Europe such as Finland, Sweden, Poland, Austria or Spain.
Responsibilities:
- Activately supporting our Process & Functional Chemicals manufacturing sites regarding process safety, process development, cost savings, energy efficiency, and raw material usage.
- Participating/owning technology development projects and initiatives globally and regionally.
- Building and maintaining active cooperation with our internal stakeholders in Manufacturing, Product Lines, Business Management, R&D, Sourcing and others.
- Providing technology support for Capex projects globally. Participating in projects from initialization to execution stage as a process technology expert. Acting as a project manager in smaller projects.
- Keeping yourself up to date with the latest developments in chemical and process engineering fields.
- Contributing and supporting scale-up and transfer of new technologies from R&D to Manufacturing.
