About the Role
In 2022 Navis became a subsidiary of Kaleris becoming the premier brand optimizing container & general cargo terminals. We are looking for a lead resource in a customer-facing role with excellent functional and technical knowledge with the Navis N4 Terminal Operating System. This Senior Consultant can develop customer relationships in addition to gather, analyse customer requirements, and suggest solutions to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Orientation, Analysis and Data Migrations
  • Assess options and define conceptual solution design
  • Able to do solution design, and assist in development and test phases to ensure delivered solution meets customer objectives
  • Suggest solutions for customers on the spot during O&A meetings
  • Lead Navis N4 or XPS implementation during the project or any other expertise area
  • Define, prioritize, and document business and operational requirements
  • Able to work independently, completes assignments consistently
  • Ability to develop relationships with counterpart customer and Kaleris team members
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to raise questions in a thoughtful, consultative, ‘trusted advisor’ manner
  • Ability to deal with challenges and stressful situations, while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Technical savvy – ability to analyse, configure and integrate systems to achieve required result
  • Mentors fellow Consultants

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant work experience; 6+ years experience in any Logistics / Shipping domain
  • Minimum 6 years experience for cross-department transfers
  • Minimum 6 years using or deploying Navis N4 (external candidates)
  • Firm grasp of Kaleris-specific technical skills
  • Excellent understanding of marine terminal industry and business processes
  • Has proven extended knowledge in 2 additional expertise areas outside of their area
