ABOUT YOU:

As our Senior Test Analyst, you are someone with extensive experience in Agile methodologies, software testing and quality practices. You thrive on working through the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring each phase meets rigorous standards. You have a stellar track record in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) software engineering practices and can effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in functional testing, exploratory testing, and test automation, someone who can ensure comprehensive coverage across all aspects of software quality assurance.

• Tertiary education in IT, engineering, computer science, or related fields.
• Comprehensive expertise in Agile methodologies, software testing, and quality practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding the design and architecture of both new and existing systems.
• Profound familiarity with the entire delivery lifecycle.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD Software Engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at tailoring messages for various audiences.
• Strong capabilities in functional testing, exploratory testing, and test automation.
• Skilled in stakeholder management and adept problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence to critique technical solutions, architecture decisions, and conduct thorough technical-level testing.
• Possession of testing qualifications such as ISTQB.

This platform will serve as the foundation for all our service offerings, including Energy, Insurance, and Lending. Therefore, there will be opportunities to contribute to a variety of stimulating projects that span our entire business.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Allocate ample time in estimations and goals for quality assurance.
• Champion and uphold quality standards throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Lead comprehensive quality reviews, prioritising risk assessment.
• Execute both automated and exploratory tests to ensure thorough coverage.
• Foster knowledge-sharing within the team to enhance overall quality practices.
• Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis to address underlying issues effectively.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases to support continuous testing efforts.
• Stay familiar with industry quality trends and incorporate relevant practices.
• Contribute to post-live quality assessments to ensure ongoing performance.
