The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for implementing automated tests, tools and systems in Python to verify the firmware & hardware of our cutting edge microinverters.
QUALIFICATION OR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 5+ years related experience and a BE in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or equivalent experience
- Object oriented programming with Python
- An understanding of test methodologies
- An understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and power systems
- Good written and verbal communication
Responsibilities:
- Python programming
- Preparing and executing automated test plans
- Automating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, grid simulators, solar array simulators, precision power meters, etc.
- Debugging software and hardware problems
- Creating and maintaining continuous integration systems with Jenkins
