• Working in a team practicing devops & continuous deployment
• Behavior-driven development (BDD) (e.g. Gherkin, Cucumber, SpecFlow)
• Open API documentation
• Databases (e.g DynamoDB)Vulnerability scanning and static code analysis tools (e.g SonarCloud)
• 
  As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

THE ROLE

As a (Senior) Test Automation Engineer at Kempower, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of the EV market. Responsibilities include leading the design and execution of automated tests, developing and maintaining scalable and robust test automation framework, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Occasional travel may be required to support our global initiatives.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• Understanding our EV charger application domain, defining testingapproaches and formulating test cases
• Functional testing (through APIs and UIs)
• Security and performance testing
• At least 3-5 years of experience in test automation or softwaredevelopment
• A deep understanding of agile software development practices and tools(Agile methods, Git, CI/CD, devops, code reviews, security)
• Attitude for and track record of continuous learning and curiosity
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering orequivalent
• We also value experience on IoT solutions / embedded Testing
