The resulting Industry 4.0 solutions deliver higher output, reduce rework, and improve quality.
In one of our projects we are working closely with the Global Algorithms & Software Semiconductor Mask Solutions team within ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology. Their sophisticated algorithms evaluate enormous amounts of image data in a highly efficient manner. Only in this way they can enable the performance of their complex photomask systems - the essential building block to manufacture defect-free microchips.
The high-tech measurement systems for semiconductor lithography heavily rely on high computational performance and state-of-the-art-algorithmic solutions. Here you will work in an agile setting with an excellent team of algorithm developers, software architects, and HPC engineers to ensure highest quality of the resulting software solutions.
Your tasks will include managing the CI/CD process, designing a test strategy and implementing quality requirements in automated pipelines. In close collaboration with application specialists, you will be responsible to ensure the requirements and specifications for our software products are always met. With an innovation-driven mindset you follow the latest technical developments, and you look forward to taking ownership of the quality of scientific computing.
Your Profile
Do you have a high quality standard for hardware and software and would like to contribute to a highly efficient and automated manufacturing process? Then we would love hearing from you!

Furthermore, you have the following profile:

  • Intensive experience with practical software testing for high performance computing with QA tools like Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Jenkins
  • Excellent practical programming skills with scientific Python, C++/C#, parallel computing, CUDA
  • University level degree in STEM field (preferably computer science) or relevant professional experience
  • Ideally proven software architecture skills and FOSS contributions, good knowledge in image processing algorithms and machine learning
  • Knowledge of ISTQB concepts mandatory, preferably with ISTQB certification
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Team player with a strong solution-oriented attitude and great passion for high code quality
