Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer (Ref.No. R1005608)

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

  • Defining the pre-requisites and the priorities for the T&C planning.
  • Coordinating the production of the T&C documentation.
  • Managing the interfaces with the different entities
  • Witnessing or performing specific tests on the system
  • Plan and coordinate the site tests
  • Coordinate the necessary means for the realisation of the systems tests, being understood that each entity provides the staff and test tools for their own equipment.
  • Organising the “readiness reviews” prior to the systems tests; follow-up the corrective actions mandatory before the systems tests start.
  • Create and manage action plans corresponding to malfunctioning of the system, aiming to reach the performances targets.
  • Manage the system configuration during the successive tests phases.
  • Participate the T&C Weekly Meeting to review requirements for T&C activities.
  • Produce and issue the T&C 4 Week Look Ahead planning
  • Prepare documentation for test procedures (method statements)
  • Maintain the site always neat and tidy.
  • Preparation of red markup drawings according to the site condition and approved modification

You have:

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Able to read the electrical scheme drawings and make necessary correction when required.
  • Previous experience in Testing & Commissioning of large rail infrastructure projects (desired but not Must)
  • Familiar with working in and around live electrified railway systems.
  • Hands on experience in using Test Equipment like Multi meter, Scopemeter, etc.
  • Able to prepare Test Procedure and relevant technical document.
  • Able to learn and pick up cut-in/cut-out of circuits for new systems or reroute cables / systems that required test and commissioning.
  • Able to understand the regulation and requirement of local electrical practice and SMRT/ LTA requirements.
  • Willing to work in night shifts and on call duty.
