WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU BRING?

Your educational background will include a college or university degree in a related discipline such as Computer Science or Systems Engineering, combined with several years of quality assurance/testing experience, OR a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent will contribute to the success in this role. Your application will demonstrate proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Tester, with a focus on UAT. Your in-depth knowledge of UAT methodologies, processes, and best practices is required. Your strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies is an asset.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager – Testing & Quality Assurance, you will perform the User Acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance function. The primary focus is to ensure that all TTC related Farecard applications and technologies undergo well-planned, executed, and completed User Acceptance Testing. This involves developing Quality and Test Strategies as well as Test Plans and Test Cases to evaluate usability, functionality, and performance of the delivered system for Farecard capital projects, and operations initiatives. Additionally, as Senior Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst you will ensure that the Farecard Technology software and hardware delivered by the service provider meet the required quality criteria as defined in the project / maintenance releases. You will work extensively with project managers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify UAT scope, using required use cases to design test cases that provide comprehensive test coverage and provide a traceability matrix to validate the test coverage. It is also expected that evaluation will be provided of Service Provider’s test results and environmental standards (e.g., SAE J1455, EN 50155) certifications based on business requirements and safety specifications. You will be required to participate in the TTC’s Customer Service Ambassador Program,
