JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Total Rewards, the Senior Total Rewards Consultant enables Total Rewards, HR, and enterprise strategies. Significant exposure to global Total Rewards/ Wellbeing/ Recognition programs by providing analytical expertise, and managing various projects that cross countries, , business groups and/or employee populations.
A highly cross-functional role, this position requires strong project management, collaboration and influencing skills across the organization while building and maintaining key partnerships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates with senior levels within the organization to provide data driven insights and analytics in support of Sun Life’s total rewards strategy
  • Acts as project manager on total rewards projects with enterprise scope, for example: disclosure (e.g. sustainability report), developing recommendations on global salary budgets, developing materials to support understanding of our global wellbeing programs, managing/ updating global guidelines/policies for sound compensation decisions, etc.
  • Prepares Executive/board-ready materials with a mix of quantitative and qualitative analysis, working with various stakeholders (e.g., Finance, HR, Client groups)
  • Program manages global recognition programs, including collaborating and partnering with various stakeholders to implement changes and drive alignment across the organization, providing data driven recommendations to support desired outcomes
  • Ad-hoc management of medium to large size compensation related projects that cross all employee populations
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of compensation design, practices, policies, and competitive industry trends
