As a Senior Track Maintenance Engineer, you will have an extensive understanding of Track engineering, and a good knowledge of wider industry theory and practice. In this role there will be opportunities to work on the maintenance and configuration of track across the TfL estate, supporting the operation of the railway. You will be involved with a wide range of Track disciplines, including switches/points and crossings, rail defect management, WRI, derailments, mechanised maintenance, noise & vibration, and technical support.
Day-to-day, you will be delivering technical solutions for stakeholders across the business and providing technical guidance to Operational and Delivery Units. You will take the lead in the Team Maintenance Engineering team to deliver projects that improve the management and maintenance of the Track infrastructure across the network.
Successful applicants will have proven experience of providing high quality professional engineering delivery to major projects and/or maintenance organisations, and a good knowledge of S&C. You must have a strong engineering background and be willing to expand your knowledge of all aspects of Track Engineering. Candidates must have experience in providing technical guidance to a range of stakeholders and producing in depth technical reports. You must have strong track record in leading on projects, delivering them on time and within cost constraints.

KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent knowledge of engineering theory and principals
- Good Understand of the maintenance of Track assets, with a strong focus on S&C
- Extensive Understanding of the Railway & Maintenance sector
EXPERIENCE
- Experience of collaborating across teams and in different asset areas
- Proven experience of leading and delivering technical projects/solutions
- In-depth experience of Track Maintenance Engineering
