Desired Qualifications:
- College degree or above with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in issuance, advising of SBLC / BG processing required.
- Hands on experience in MS Words & Excel
- Exposure in computerised banking facilities
- Good command of spoken and written English and spoken Cantonese would be an added advantage.
- Good team player and willing to learn
- Experience in handling Document examination, Trade Payments or any other Trade Processing would be an added advantage
- CDCS or CITF or CSDG certification would be an added advantage
- Fresh graduate or less experience will be considered as Trade Operation Processo

In this role, you will:
- Issuance of Standby Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees subject to ICC Rules and Bank Policy and Guidelines for the region.
- Perform advising and amending of Standby letters of credit, Bank Guarantees in accordance with Trade Services standards
- Review of draft SBLC and BG and suggest the required changes in line with the ICC guidelines and bank policies and procedures
- Work closely with the SBLC COE team
- Handling periodic commission
- Handling of audits and self assessments
- Perform quality check for the team
- Guide new team members on complex tasks including amending Standby letters of credit, BGs, reviewing draft.
- Assist leaders in training staff on new products or procedures and coordinate workflow in the absence of leadership
- Prioritize work and provide day-to-day leadership to team
- Identify opportunities for additional product sales through client referrals and make recommendations to changes in existing policies and procedures
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
