Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of transactions in accordance with MIFIR and EMIR regulatory requirements. Monitor changes in regulations and guidelines and implement necessary updates to reporting processes and procedures.
- Analyze trade data and transaction reports to identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information. Conduct thorough validation checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of reported data.
- Manage and maintain regulatory reporting systems and platforms used for transaction reporting. Work closely with IT and vendors to address system issues, implement enhancements, and optimize reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and control processes. Develop and implement enhancements to reporting workflows, systems, and controls to streamline operations and mitigate risk.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and best practices related to transaction reporting. Assess the impact of regulatory changes on reporting obligations and implement necessary updates to policies, procedures, and systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on transaction reporting matters and provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including front office, compliance, and operations teams. Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and vendors as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, procedures, and controls. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to educate staff on transaction reporting requirements and best practices.
