As the Senior Transformation Manager (Responsibility & Gaming Transformation) for ALH you will drive critical responsibility, financial crime & gaming transformation initiatives that form part of the ALH strategy. This senior manager level role will be part of the highly visible strategy implementation effort for the ALH / Hotels business and offers a unique chance to lead, drive and deliver innovative programs of work.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about pub culture. We provide local communities with their favourite hospitality experiences across our 350 iconic venues, which includes Young and Jackson’s, Queens Hotel, Ramsgate Hotel, Crows Nest Hotel and the Breakfast Creek Hotel. With many key transformational initiatives underway, we’re committed to ensuring our guests enjoy their pub experience responsibly
  • Excited to deliver real impact for venue teams and guests. The job requires a mix of thought leadership, analytical problem solving, stakeholder management and driving execution. We want you to be excited about improving the experience for venue teams and creating pub experiences our locals love
  • Enjoys problem solving - and delivering impact in real time. You’ll drive programs of work, overcome barriers to successful transformation delivery and refine solutions in partnership with business teams. Importantly this role is about people and delivery - this is not a PMO role (although being skilled in project and change management is a necessary baseline).

Here’s a taster of the Senior Transformation Manager (Responsibility & Gaming Transformation) responsibilities:

  • As a trusted business partner to the leadership team, proactively drive the transformation agenda - ensuring effective execution & delivery of targeted transformation outcomes
  • Represent LT sponsors, as the transformation delegate, in relevant forums and apply sound judgement to decision making around tactical and strategic plans
  • Leverage your regulatory, financial crime and gaming transformation experience to inject thought leadership on strategic initiative objectives, approach and delivery
  • Apply strategic thinking and problem solving skills to structure problems, design & execute appropriate analysis/research, and develop creative and innovative actions to solve
  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with other matrixed teams in the business; leveraging these to ensure successful delivery of the strategic & transformation priorities.
  • Lead & own core program and initiative deliverables and outcomes alongside the business teams, driving project execution efforts.
  • Apply transformation toolkit to successfully establish and deliver programs & initiatives, including scoping, formulation of approach, information gathering, hypothesis testing and analysis and formulation of solutions.
  • Implement consistent project & program management methodologies & frameworks to guide & support efforts.
  • Coach and support business teams on best practices.
  • Identify change management needs and guide change management efforts

Now let’s talk about you:

  • Senior transformation experience (5-7+ years) gained in a large matrix corporate environment, strategy consultancy, private equity or similar relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in large transformation programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, and end-to-end program / project management.
  • Superb written and oral communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Understanding of responsible gaming & financial crime frameworks
  • Experience in hospitality or similar consumer environments is desirable.
  • Experience in gaming, wagering or financial services environments is desirable.
