We’re currently looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team in Franklin, TN.

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Treasury Analyst with expertise in hedging and derivatives to join our team. As a key member of our Capital Markets team this role will be primarily responsible for the analysis, execution, and reporting for the company’s hedging and derivatives activities including but not limited to interest rate swaps on floating rate debt, cross currency swaps, interest rate caps, and commodities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, CTP) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in capital markets, derivatives trading, or risk management, with a focus on hedging strategies.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and statistical analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, derivative products, and risk management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Hedging Strategy Development: Design and implement hedging strategies to manage risks associated with interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities, and other market variables.
  • Derivatives Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of derivative products, including options, swaps, and futures, to assess their suitability for hedging purposes and their impact on the company’s financial position.
  • Quantitative Analysis and Financial Modeling: Conduct quantitative analysis and oversee complex financial models in support of management reporting.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on market trends and opportunities in the derivatives and hedging space and present findings to management regularly to identify new strategies and efficiencies to optimize financial performance.
  • Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining and developing relationships with bank counterparts for derivative and hedging needs.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in annual budgeting processes by forecasting hedging and derivatives impact on interest expense and other drivers of profitability for the company.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Will work closely with the broader Treasury team, Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Legal to assist in the gathering and sharing of information needed to adequately manage liquidity, risk, compliance, and reporting of financial performance.
  • Audit and Compliance Support: Provide audit, internal compliance, and due diligence support as needed.
