Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, or Strength and Conditioning Coach to join NSW Police Force’s Treatment and Recovery unit in a leadership position. The Treatment and Recovery unit delivers evidence based, work focused treatment to injured NSW Police Force employees, with clinics across both metro and regional areas. The Senior Treatment and Recovery Coordinator is responsible for leading a team of allied health professionals, delivering programs and systems related to injury management, recovery and rehabilitation and providing professional advice to internal and external stakeholders, whilst also maintaining a small clinical load. The position is best suited to someone who is self-motivated with a passion for improving recovery at work and rehabilitation outcomes for our first responders. The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of new research and development both within Australia and internationally, be an excellent communicator, have leadership and project management experience, be willing to do some travel and be energised to work with a unique and diverse population.
