YOUR SKILLS:

  • German is a requirement for this role as most of our users are German-speakers. English is also needed as English is the company language.
  • You have worked in (Senior) User Research positions for a minimum of 4-5 years now.
  • You are experienced in utilizing various quantitative and qualitative research methods in complex mixed-methods approaches.
  • You are experienced in leading strategic research efforts and integrating crucial insights into product design.
  • You know how Product Designers, Product Managers and Engineers work and always choose the best ways to support and influence these partnering roles efficiently.
  • You are a passionate moderator of interviews and discussions, constantly observing crucial details and navigating the conversation with a sure instinct.
  • You are a talented presenter and know how to convince even rational thinking stakeholders and target audiences of user obsessed ways of thinking.
  • You are a patient mentor and love teaching user centered workstyles and research methods to stakeholders and less experienced peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Create customized study designs to tackle complex research questions and project requirements via state-of-the-art methodology and mixed methods approaches.
  • Navigate product teams and stakeholders through the collaborative process of highly complex research studies.
  • Advice product teams how to create an ideal scope and fidelity of test material.
  • quantitative research methods, KPI measurements, metrics and multivariate methods on a high level – always enabling peers to learn from your expertise.
  • Also apply qualitative research methods such as moderated or unmoderated interviews and UX Tests on a solid level.
  • Analyse and summarize results in suitable reporting styles or types of research artefacts.
  • Present research findings to product teams, to the whole product & UX community as well as the leadership team.
  • Ensure that business units and leadership team members understand and follow user needs and design recommendations carefully.
  • Provide internal mentoring support to product teams in self serviced research studies.
  • Supervise interns and working students on their learning journey.
  • Facilitate research workshops and internal trainings.
