Senior UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) (1 Year Limited Contract)

YOUR MISSION

BuildingMinds is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Design Team on a limited contract basis for a maternity replacement. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the user experience and interface of our software solutions, contributing to the enhancement of our design system, and ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will drive the design of end-to-end projects and related product features while contributing to the overall growth of our design system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design (visual communication, service design, or similar field).
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in UX/UI design, preferably in software or web applications.
• Proven experience working with design systems, and creation of components and tokens.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with user research techniques, usability testing, and prototyping.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Flexibility in a fast-changing environment and openness to feedback.
• Fluency in English.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Conduct user research, gather insights, and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Develop layouts and design components for our existing design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input.
• Collaborate with other designers either by onboarding them into topics you drive or supporting them with theirs.
• Maintain design consistency across products and align with the Head of Product Design on the main direction of our platform and its design system.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
