ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• High academic background, at least an MSc in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Understanding the risks with deployment of safe autonomous vehicles,
• Industrial experience and domain knowledge within verification and validation of ADAS/AD software more specifically:scenario-based verification,experience with numerous verification methods,critical thinking and ability to reason around problems and solutions for AD V&V

YOUR MISSION AND DAY-TO-DAY TASKS

You will work with big data, closed-loop simulations, test case generation, and statistical modeling to develop data driven, and scenario-based frameworks for verification and validation of autonomous driving. You will also work closely with feature developers, data science experts, safety experts and other stakeholders.

Your work could include:

• Evaluating the AD software using scenario-based approach in simulation environments.
• Developing methods to (automatically) generate critical synthetic test cases from the scenario database.
• Supporting the team (development organisation) with your knowledge in scenario-based verification.
• Exploring the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence for scenario-based verification.
