Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • 15% travel required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Leadership experience and ability to lead IPTs through ambiguity and short deadlines
  • Prior external customer support/interface experience
  • IMS and EVMS implementation and execution, to include meeting EAC requirements
  • Ability to monitor, interact and course correct teams to support customer goals
  • Strong business sense to proactively identify and resolve problems and issues quickly and efficiently
  • Active Top Secret Clearance is Preferred

Responsibilities:

Join Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT), a fast paced, high visibility and rewarding portfolio that is expected to be an engine for growth in the Mission Systems organization. The Test and Training Instrumentation team is a vibrant, high performance organization with a get things done cadence. We are looking for an experienced program manager to execute Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) Production, Deployment & Sustainment. The Navy customer is executing their range fielding plans and expanding their production demands, leading to higher production volume and follow-on business opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads TCTS II production and deployment including Range installations, training, and support to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, scope and cost performance
  • Serve as a primary customer contact for program production, deployment and sustainment activities
  • Oversee production builds to ensure delivery dates and sales are achieved
  • Coordinate with customer and fellow Value Stream Leaders to understand future product demand and transmit this information to operations
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Business Development, and fellow Value Stream Leaders to develop and leverage product line solutions and capabilities
  • Run a profitable and predictable business through accurate forecasting, on-time deliveries, and management of risks and opportunities
  • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, proposal negotiations, program plans, schedule, budgets, and contract
  • Prepares and presents program management and financial reviews
  • Drives and develops continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Contribute to the development of the ACTT Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Operating Plan
