Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As Head of the Corporate Development Office you lead, manage and motivate a team of passionate experts, responsible for the development and execution of the group’s continuous success, including Group Strategy, M&A, Digital Transformation, CSR, Sennheiser Mobility, Lab X as well as other group defining topics that emerge out of the group strategy process
  • As part of the extended management board you provide strategic direction and ensure that the organization’s business strategies are aligned with its long-term goal and vision
  • In this role you drive the group’s digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies and business models to create new opportunities and improve operational efficiency
  • You oversee the development and execution of strategic programs across the organization, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives and effective project management
  • The development and implementation of CSR initiatives also falls in your area of responsibility
  • You are in charge of identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and leading negotiations to execute successful transactions
  • Leading and overseeing the group’s corporate venture building initiatives (Lab X) is also an essential task within your broad portfolio
  • You will be representing the group in external industry, governmental or trade networks such as the IHK Hannover or the Maschinenraum, promoting the groups vision, values and interests
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders is natural for you (incl. executive leadership and external partners), to drive the group’s corporate development agenda

YOUR EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • University degree in economics, business administration, strategy or comparable studies and several years of corresponding professional experience in leadership roles
  • Strategic thinking with strong strategic methodology and analyzing skills to take strategic, data-driven decisions that align with the company’s overall vision and mission
  • A strong business acumen, understanding the company’s operations, financials, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities; experienced in identifying and solving complex business problems
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate the company’s strategic plan, progress and projects to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and deal-making skills
  • Proven track record in managing and driving change and facilitating organizational transformation as the company evolves
  • Experienced in networking, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners
