We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President, Tax.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with professional accounting qualification
  • More than 15 years of professional tax experience gained from Big Four, banks or financial services
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of how Tax impacts the businesses, knowledge of FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and good understanding of the US Qualified Intermediary (QI) regime would be an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of excellent stakeholder management, working effectively across teams and problem solving with the confidence to make measured and commercial decisions which may have far reaching implications
  • Sound judgment, decision making and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail, able to maintain the highest levels of accuracy and adherence to standards and policies

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team in supporting taxation matters of Wealth and Personal Banking business in Singapore
  • Partner with stakeholders to execute tax related strategic priorities including tax advice on products and services
  • Lead tax compliance and reporting, transfer pricing, transactional, direct and indirect tax processes and controls
  • Ensure tax reporting of the entities are accurate and supported
  • Work closely with local tax authorities on various tax matters, including tax audits/inspections
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned
