Our Dublin based client is seeking a Senior Web Developer (Tech Lead). This pivotal role involves guiding technical teams, advancing architectural best practices, and integrating cutting-edge technologies within a dynamic agile environment. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

• 6+ years of experience in developing and implementing eCommerce systems, ideally with platforms like Shopify or similar.
• Expertise in client-side technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, along with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong experience in full-stack development, particularly using Node.js, and proficient in API and server-side development.
• Demonstrated leadership in Agile/Scrum project environments, driving software development and iterative improvements.
• Skilled in version control using Git and familiar with test-driven development (TDD) approaches.
• Experienced in integrating and configuring web and payment services, with a practical understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud services across AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on application deployment and data services.
• Proven capabilities in technical leadership, strategic planning, and complex problem-solving within IT projects.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 3rd level degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline or relevant experience.

• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions that cater to business and consumer needs globally.
• Ensure the seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure to align with strategic business objectives and technological advancements.
• Guide and mentor teams of developers in creating innovative, industry-leading software solutions from concept through to execution.
• Prototype and test new functionalities to improve system efficiency and user interaction, prioritising scalability and security.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to boost system capabilities and business process efficiency.
• Manage collaborations with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet project milestones and adhere to development roadmaps.
• Enforce standards and practices for system reliability and security, complying with regulatory and governance frameworks.
• Lead project and resource management activities, including detailed planning, resource allocation, and execution oversight.
