SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years experience in Wordpress development
• 5+ years commercial experience in PHP, javascript and CSS application development (full stack)
• Leadership or mentorship experience
• Experience using databases and SQL
• Skilled at writing automated tests
• Ideally strong analytical skills and a passion to understand complex business logic
• Familiar with Linux command line
• Ability to work independently

THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer to join our team. You will be involved with the maintenance and improvement of a large number of projects using PHP, Mysql, JavaScript, CSS and WordPress, contribute to the overall user experience of our client’s open-source analytics service, provide high-level support for their users, take ownership of technical issues, and refine our client’s website design and features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and improve projects using PHP, javascript, CSS and Wordpress
• Provide high-level support for customers
• Collaborate with team members and coach and mentor as needed
• Participate in scrum process and meetings
• Participate in code reviews
• Maintain and improve our websites
• Maintain and improve our WordPress product
• Work on other projects as needed
