POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek an experienced Senior Manager of Workplace to lead our operations in the EMEA region. This role will lead a team that manages all aspects of workplace operations, physical security, employee health and safety, facilities management, and workplace experience within the region. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence to support the organization’s goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or workplace operations with regional scope.
  • Extensive experience in workplace operations management, focusing on stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of facilities management, occupational health and safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans while also addressing immediate needs and challenges.
  • People Leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional project management and budgeting abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the EMEA region is advantageous.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time
  • Professional certifications in facilities management (e.g., CFM, FMP) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute workplace operations strategies that align with company goals and support a positive work environment.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of workplace operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, vendors, and property management.
  • Establish and oversee processes to ensure the execution of facility management activities, including maintenance, security, health and safety, cleaning, space utilization, and workplace experience, to meet the needs of the business and employees.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support office initiatives such as relocations, expansions, and workplace design projects.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives to promote a green workplace and reduce the environmental impact of operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively, ensuring service levels meet company standards and cost efficiencies are achieved.
  • Develop and manage budgets for workplace operations, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and value creation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for workplace-related matters, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of workplace operations, physical security & employee safety, workplace experience, and sustainability initiatives, regularly reporting progress to senior leadership.
  • This role is expected to be in an office on average 2 days a week
