Description:

Are you ready to take your writing and editing expertise to the next level? Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Writer/Editor to join their team and play a key role in shaping their brand narrative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in English, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a corporate or agency setting, with a proven track record of managing editorial responsibilities for corporate publications.
Advanced editing and proofreading skills, with expertise in AP writing style and the ability to navigate business priorities and sensitivities.
Strong project management abilities, capable of juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in investor relations is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead content production and manage editorial calendars for our website and corporate publications, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Take the lead in crafting annual reports, showcasing the company’s achievements and milestones in a compelling manner.
Provide top-notch editing and proofreading support to ensure all content across various channels reflects the brand voice and adheres to established style guidelines.
Write and edit technical reports and policy documents with a focus on clarity and precision, making complex information accessible to a wide audience.
Create engaging content for diverse platforms, from traditional print publications to digital channels, that resonates with the target audiences.
Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to shape stories and direct content to appropriate channels, leveraging your influence to drive impactful communications.
Contribute to the development of integrated strategies and plans, ensuring content and messaging are central considerations from the outset to maintain consistency across companywide communications.
Align business and corporate communications with financial, shareholder, and social responsibility positioning to reinforce the brand and narrative.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance content development and publishing processes, staying abreast of industry best practices to drive innovation.
