Description:

Sepsis Practitioners are registered professionals with additional knowledge, skills and experience in the safe and effective management of Sepsis. This post is open to Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals who have a specialist interest in sepsis and its recognition and management.
At NWAnglia NHS FT, the Sepsis Practitioner facilitates the delivery of evidenced based standardised practices relating to Sepsis care. The Sepsis Practitioner provides a pivotal role in advocating for patient safety, they are drivers, in conjunction with the Sepsis Specialist Practitioner, in quality improvement focusing on quality of care to improve patient outcomes.
