Sepsis Specialist Nurse/Practitioner

The Sepsis specialist Practitioner is a Trust wide role, providing clinical leadership, education and training to improve the outcomes for patients with sepsis. The post holder is accountable for the leadership and delivery of actions to promote safe, effective sepsis care to patients within the Trust. The role will include raising awareness of sepsis, ensuring early recognition, assessment and interventions through clinical education and direct clinical support. The post holder will be instrumental in organising and supporting the corporate delivery of the Sepsis key performance indicators.
They will be a driver of qualitative, innovative, productive, safe evidence based nursing care which promotes best practice and best outcomes for patients and will act as a clinical expert and resource for members of the multi-disciplinary team
