EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE AT LEAST TWO OF (OR EQUIVALENT)

  • RHCSA / RHCE (preferred)
  • MCSA / MCSE (preferred).

  • Linux OS, platforms including variants of Redhat and Debian

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

The chosen candidate will play a crucial role within the Classified Infrastructure team, undertaking the responsibility of maintaining and managing the overall performance and availability of classified networks and other hosted systems, and actively providing support to users at all levels of the organization—effectively addressing infrastructure support issues, which is an essential aspect of their role

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administering a blend of physical and virtualized production environments.
  • Providing technical input for infrastructure changes in adherence to change management processes.
  • Contributing to design and assurance processes.
  • Timely resolution of incidents within agreed-upon service levels.
  • Identifying and taking ownership of underlying problems discovered during day-to-day operations, managing them to resolution, and escalating to the regional TS Service manager when necessary.
  • Installing and supporting hardware, including servers, networking equipment, PCs, thin clients, printers, and telephones.
  • Installing and supporting software, encompassing both server and desktop applications.
  • Offering support for Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, SharePoint, and Citrix platforms.
  • Providing support for Linux OS, covering variants of Redhat and Debian.
  • Offering network support for Cisco environments.
  • Executing routine operations schedules for servers, server applications, databases, systems, and network elements using established and repeatable procedures following corporate standards and requirements.
  • Updating or creating additional material as needed.
