ABOUT IT SERVICES

IT Services at the University of Manchester is a vibrant and fast-moving department, we focus on delivering excellent customer service and quality services for our staff, students and researchers.

Responsibilities:

The role is to co-ordinates an end to end Service Assurance (Service Design and Transition) process. You will work closely with Project and Operational Teams to ensure that new and changed IT Services have a complete Service Design Package, and that it meets the agreed Service Transition and Operational Readiness measures, which includes creation of artefacts such as runbooks, configuration of ITIL service support processes, support and RACI models, Disaster Recovery plans, and the completion of knowledge transfer.
