ABOUT THE COMPANY
Liberte HR are partnering with our client to open a new modern Filipino restaurant, Hayop, in Amoy Street. Hayop will look to be champion Filipino cuisine locally in Singapore, and represents an extension and elevated interpretation of the popular Philippines-based concept, Manam.
JOB SUMMARY
- Provide excellent service and create amazing dining experiences for all our dining guests.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in restaurant service experience in a full service restaurant (casual or formal)
- Comfortable and willing to interact with guests
- Well-groomed with a pleasant disposition
- Team player
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Friendly and courteous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to converse in English well

Responsibilities:
- Provide high standards of service and create amazing dining experiences for our dining guests
- Prepare the restaurant for service - table settings, top up of condiments and other preparatory tasks.
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly manner.
- Be well-versed in the restaurants menu.
- Assist guests with the menu and provide recommendations.
- Handle food and beverage orders and serve guests.
- Be able to anticipate guests needs and preferences and render timely service.
- Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take appropriate action to correct any issues.
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining.
- Carry out daily general cleaning duties which include, but not limited to,Sweeping and mopping of floorsTidying up of service stationsTrash disposalWashing and cleaning of serve ware
- Organise and ensure dining space is clean and tidy in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle all restaurant telephone enquiries.
- All other administrative duties in the restaurant
- Foster and promote a cooperative working environment, maximizing productivity and team morale.
- ooperate with management in the execution of marketing initiatives, events and other activations.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities of work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position.
- Any other duties as assigned by Outlet Manager.
