We are looking for a Service Contract Manager to our Marine & Ports Propulsion Service unit in Vuosaari, Helsinki. In this position, you will manage one or several service agreements and ensure that all contract related obligations are fulfilled. To be successful, you will also need to identify sales opportunities and lead development projects, while ensuring all contract management activities are executed according to company procedures and the contract management framework.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Ensuring that service agreement commitments are followed and implemented according to ABB’s framework
• Identifying opportunities for improving the customers operations and eliminating pain points
• Preparing and executing regular performance reviews internally and externally with the customer
• Supporting the development of the contracts by gathering customer feedback and distributing it to the appropriate part of the organization
• Optimizing the contracts by analyzing the deliverables
• Coaching and supporting service project and site managers in their projects
• Creating and organizing handovers for project managers to initiate contracts’ projects

Qualifications for the role:

• Previous experience from service business, at least 5 years. Role can have been in project management, sales or account management. In general, experience from Marine industry is seen as advantage
• Independent and solution-focused way of working with analytical abilities
• Wide knowledge of contracts, preferably long-term service contracts, and proven track record in contract management
• M.Sc. in Engineering or Economics
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
