The Service Coordinator – Log Handling Cranes is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of parts and equipment to our Canadian and US customers. This role involves coordinating the workflow of the warehouse, and providing exceptional customer service. The Service Coordinator – Log Handling Cranes will work closely with our ANDRITZ service personnel and customers to meet delivery schedules and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Process quotes, service orders and execution of final reports and submit paperwork for final invoicing.
Maintaining paperwork making sure all information is stored in the correct locations.
Working closely with vendors, rental companies to line up equipment to be onsite for scheduled maintenance and repairs
Ordering equipment and service contractors and possibly some parts
Verify order accuracy and completeness before shipping.
Schedule and prioritize orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to streamline workflow.
Communicate any delays or issues to service technicians and customers.
Implement and maintain quality control processes
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Provide product information and technical support as needed.
Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Work closely with peers to ensure smooth operations.
When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in service/ coordinating service.
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of drawings.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of North American supply chain and logistics principles an asset
