Job Description

Previous leadership experience is preferable but not essential. You will need to be able to lead, support and mentor a team of support workers. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and networking skills and be able to build and sustain working relationships with clients, staff and external agencies.

  • A full driver’s licence and computer skills are essential
  • If on a work visa, this must be valid for at least twelve months
  • Available for an interview in Wellington if successfully shortliste

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Pact is seeking a motivated and organised individual to oversee our community-based supports services
Our Fetu Ola community service is looking for an individual who enjoys engaging with the Pacific community and building strong connective links and pathways in the area. This role will also oversee our community reintegration service where you will be assisting our clients who have a history with our justice system. The core aspects are to support these people to re-engage with their community.
This role will require staff management and the ability to walk alongside our whaiora, we are looking for an understanding, adaptable, and observant individual to join an established and experienced team. You will be able to demonstrate resilience, integrity and professionalism. Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise are essential.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with an optimistic ‘can do’ attitude. In this role you would be expected to personally model the required standards of care and support and ensure that clinical recommendations, policies and procedures are adhered to.
