The Opportunity:
A Parramatta based client is looking for a Service Designer to join them and play a pivotal role in designing and delivering user-centric digital experiences that enhance accessibility and usability for both internal employees and external users seeking justice. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving digital transformation and improving service delivery across jurisdictions.

The Role:

  • Human-Centered Design Expertise: Utilize a variety of human-centered design methods and processes to define, design, and deliver leading user experiences for Department of Justice users and employees.
  • User Experience & Interface Design: Possess both a human-centric mindset and a keen eye for design fidelity and detail, spanning both user experience (UX) and visual and interface design (UI).
  • Collaborative Approach: Work alongside other designers and cross-functional teams, including service designers, subject matter experts, business analysts, and solution architects, to create innovative digital experiences that elevate the overall user experience.
  • Digital Product Development: Design and develop accessible, easy-to-use, and supportable digital products and services to meet the needs of diverse user groups.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage complex consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply strategies and tools for continuous improvement in customer experience, user experience, and user interface design, driving enhancements based on feedback and data insights.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Service Designer, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in digital environments.
  • Ability to keep abreast of changing technologies, business processes, and industry best practices.
  • Strong collaborative and cooperative skills, with the ability to achieve successful outcomes through teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand project environments and related issues, working effectively within tight project timeframes.
  • Qualifications in a relevant area or demonstrated professional experience in an equivalent role.
  • Previous experience with software integration or application development within a large, complex enterprise environment.
