SERVICE DESK ANALYST
We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our ICT team and hit the ground running.
As a Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for handling first line ICT calls from Police Officers and Staff within the force.
You will have a passion for delivering a high level of customer service and resolving user issues at first line using first contact resolution/ first time fixes.
The candidate will be responsible for taking support calls via our telephony system, resolving tickets using the ICT Service Management System. Responding to service request and emails and working as part of a wider ICT support team.
The following experience and abilities will be key to the role:
- Experience of Microsoft windows 10
- Experience of Microsoft Office (365)
- Previous experience of working in a customer focused role
- Ability to analyse technical problems in a structured manner
- Experience of working in a Police environment would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and oral skills
You will contribute to the setting of processes and procedures and will work closely with colleagues and other teams to ensure support knowledge is shared across the department.
Base location is currently Police HQ but we offer flexible working and the opportunity to work from home/other locations as appropriate.
Please note this is a 12 month contract with the potential to be made permanent (subject to budget).
