We are currently seeking a Service Desk Technician / Helpdesk Associate to join our team Onsite in Halifax, NS, Canada.

Job Description:

  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service level agreements.
  • Receiving, logging, and managing calls via telephone using Service Now.
  • Provide first call resolution for all technology issues including desktops, some basic TCP/IP troubleshooting, desktop applications (MS Office 365, Adobe products, Oracle, etc.).
  • The Service Desk Team is part of an organization dedicated at providing superior customer service.
  • Service a dynamic client base and environment.Technical skillset will be maintained through continual training and skill development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum 2 years of proven Helpdesk/Desktop Resolution Support experience.
  • Must have minimum 2 years of Remote Desktop Administration experience.
  • Must have minimum 2 years of experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10).
  • Must have at least 1 year experience supporting and problem-solving PC’s, laptops, and printers.
  • Must have at least 1 year experience with basic networking skills with TCP/IP.
  • Must have at least 1 year of Active Directory knowledge (ability to check user accounts, reset passwords).
  • Must have at least 1 year of working knowledge of Apple products (iPhone and iPad).
  • Must have at least 1 year of working knowledge of MS Office 365.Must have at least 1 year of experience managing ticketing system (ServiceNow or similar).

Additional Information:

  • Work in rotating shifts.
  • For shifts, we are a 24/7 account with all support done in North America.
  • Currently have 3 daytime schedules. After the last shift, we have our overnights.The qualifying candidate will need to embrace change in a dynamic IT environment, have strong prioritization skills, daily workload with minimal supervision and they must be a team player with a can-do attitude!
