Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a new Service Engagement Manager role to join the team and help us continue to deliver outstanding clinical care for our patients.
The Service Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the development and growth of patient referrals into Newmedica services.
This role will support 4 of our clinical services in Gloucester, Bristol, Plymouth and Exeter so the role holder would be located within commuting distance of these locations.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?

You’ll have experience within a referrals or sales generation environment. Ideally you will have knowledge of the NHS policy landscape relating to patient referrals, particularly in the ophthalmology sector.
You’ll be a resistant self-starter – a strong communicator who is able to overcome challenges and influence people to your point of view.
Your friendly and engaging personality will mean that you are adept at establishing effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. You’ll be used to building long term relationships and will understand how to maintain these contacts in a way that will encourage on-going patient referrals.
You’ll have experience of organising and managing promotional events and your excellent organisational skills will ensure these are always a success.
You’ll be comfortable working in a home-based role with a high degree of travel around the OJVs that you support. Whilst the core working time is typical office hours, flexibility will be required regarding travel and after-hours events.
This role will suit a friendly, engaging and confident person who thrives in a fast-paced, target driven environment. Someone who loves being out and about meeting new people and cultivating business relationships.
