Description:

The High Current Business Unit within KraftPowercon offer world-class power conversion for a diverse set of applications in the Industrial Market. To help us in our growth journey we are now looking for a client-oriented Service Engineer and offer you a unique opportunity to be directly involved in a growing business working with customers across Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
Your main responsibility will be to provide high level of technical support to customers and business partners in the region. This will mean answering technical questions, provide remote and on-site support and service that can include everything from troubleshooting, repairs to commissioning services of our High Current products.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree in power electronics
  • Minimum 6 years of service work remotely and in the field
  • Experience servicing rectifiers applied in power systems AC / DC
  • Experience solving customer concerns
  • International travel experience
  • Experience in writing service reportsPreferably, knowledge from Electrochemical processes

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent in writing and speaking English & Swedish
  • Preferably Slavic or Arabic

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out field services including commissioning, upgrading and troubleshooting
  • Handle incoming repairs of rectifiers together with the production team
  • Analyze, review and document customer problems/solutions
  • Provide technical training to customers and partners when required
  • Offer feedback on new product developments to the product manager
  • Handle and administrate spare partsCommunicate with customer on regular basis to their full satisfaction
