ISQ Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded client in the Norwich area to find a skilled Service Engineer. Are you proficient in electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance, particularly within the food machinery sector? Do you have a strong understanding of PLC software and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards? CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Demonstrated skills in the installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment, ideally with knowledge of PLC systems and software.
  • A versatile approach, being multi-skilled in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Proven abilities in equipment and machinery service, including breakdown response, maintenance, and fault diagnostics.
  • A valid Full Driving Licence and the flexibility to work away from home as required by project demands.

Responsibilities:

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Regular maintenance and servicing of various equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in equipment.
  • Installing and commissioning new machinery and equipment at client sites.
  • Providing technical support and advice to clients, ensuring optimal use of equipment.
  • Conducting routine safety checks to comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Documenting service and repair work, and maintaining customer service records.
