WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • NITEC/ Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in handling in UPS will be preferred.
  • Resourceful with good analytical, communication, organization interpersonal skills and good working attitude.
  • Able to perform standby duties, ability to support after office hour and weekend when required.
  • Possess Class 3 license will be a plus
  • Able to commit to working hours as follows: Tues - Sat 8.30am to 5.30pm and off days will be on Sunday and Monday.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We are looking for Service Engineer (UPS) to make an impact! As a Services Engineer, you will work within the Services operations team in Singapore and you will be responsible to support any job assign to you to ensure customer satisfaction with Schneider products and its services.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Represent Schneider in dealing with customer concerns.
  • Travel to customer site as service contract or as circumstances dictate.
  • Diagnose and repair, to component level, PCB’s and units returned from the assigned region.
  • Perform site evaluations, scheduled and unscheduled site visits.
  • Support customers in the installation, modification, and repair of Schneider products.
  • Solve Power and UPS problems at customer site.
  • Interact with customers by phone/face to face depending on the level and type of support required.
  • Oversee the installation of a Schneider product, repair and analyze a failed product or provide customer-site maintenance (such as replacing batteries, fans, etc).
  • Provide consultation to end-users in conjunction with sales by promoting and explaining Services as required.
  • Draft engineering failure analysis reports for customers with guidance from Engineering.
  • Qualify third party service centers and support of authorized service centers.
  • Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance of Schneider products.
  • Create country failure reports based on site interventions.
  • Identify and report failure modes encountered when in the field and determine the cause of these failures.
  • Isolate and rectify equipment installation problems and provide reports on these issues.
