ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Experience working within the disability, community services or health sector
- Have a sound knowledge of the NDIS and NDIS Practice Standards
- SIL experience will be viewed upon favorably
- Well developed communication skillsThe ability to act with discretion surrounding sensitive matters and maintain the relevant level of confidentiality
- Experience leading a team or working leading a team or working in a similar role or leadership position is desirable
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Service Leader in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) division, you will showcase your developing leadership abilities through guiding our SIL Lifestyle Attendants and supporting the provision of services. You will have the ability to build and uphold positive relationship with customers, employees and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal and deliver high quality services. You will be required to work alongside our customers to assist them to achieve their goals and provide coaching and mentoring to our staff.
This role will report to the SIL Manager and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of houses in the inner southern area of Adelaide. The position will require availability to work a 7-day roster and be able to work on shifts with our customers when required. The position will also require you to have an understanding of SIL rosters, funding and have experience in the recruitment of staff.
