Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
Take on a new challenge and apply your Electrical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Senior Superintendent, and work alongside a close-knit team that support our QNGR project at the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility.
You’ll play a critical role in performing preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, rectification & post work testing, damage and vandalism rectification works, on the NGR fleet of trains.
We’ll look to you for:
- Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systems of the vehicle.
- Performing damage and vandalism repairs as required, including data capture and effective use of the SAP system.
- Liaising with the Technical Specialists / ISST teams in order to ensure repairs are effected with no impact to in service performance
- Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Performing post work testing and validation as necessary.
- Building positive relationships with drivers and the Operator in order to support a successful fleet operation.
- Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out.
