We are now looking for a Service Management Consultant to join our Professional Services Team in the DACH-region!
In this role you will provide technical leadership in the design, configuration and implementation of our solutions and related technologies to our customers.
The position requires the ability to execute projects both independently and in conjunction with other consultants and partners, as well as Efecte technical teams, such as Cloud Ops, to successfully set up the SaaS platform, and to implement high-quality technical solutions based on industry best-practices and complex business- and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

  • Lead workshops to gather business/technical requirements
  • Consult customers on industry and Efecte best practices
  • Lead and own all technical aspects of project and solution delivery including:
  • Application UI configuration
  • Workflow configuration
  • Development of client specific reporting
  • Development and configuration of customer specific integration components
  • Be a key member of the overall implementation project team
  • Prepare client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences

PRACTICALITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU IN SUCCEEDING IN THIS ROLE:

  • 2-5 years working experience in the Service Management or IT services/consulting industry
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL, minimum ITIL Foundation certified
  • Consulting experience in the development and delivery of ITSM solutions such as ServiceNow, BMC, Cherwell or others in client environments
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML and other such technologies
  • Proven team player
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Although based in Germany, due to the international reach of the role the successful candidate is expected to speak fluent English in addition to native level German.

SKILLS WHICH MAKE YOU EVEN MORE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Technical skills for installing software on Linux and SQL are an advantage
  • Scripting skills (e.g. Python) are an advantage
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
