JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank is seeking a Service Assurance Manager with experience of Service management (Incident, Problem and Change), system resilience and reliability with a working knowledge of technology infrastructure and system architecture. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee system availability and resilience.

  • Provides Service Management and Reliability oversight for Technology teams and Business Line functions in Europe ensuring Business Critical Services have full system reliability.
  • Supports and partners with the broader Service Management and Reliability teams ensuring that Service Level Offerings are monitored and met from Europe.
  • Provides European centric, automated reporting for system resilience.
  • Analyses incidents and root causes to determine systemic trends, issues and risks.
  • Works with technical owners and problem managers to determine service improvement plans that improve resilience and reduce the risk of incidents recurring.
  • Plans and oversees reliability checks for critical applications – working with SMEs in technology, technology owners and product owners to drive out improved resilience of our applications.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the overall system architecture to enhance reliability and resilience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 6 years’ experience with the processes, practices, disciplines, and tools needed to ensure that IT services are provided as agreed between the customer and IT provider. Preferred Skills/Experience
  • ITIL Service Management Foundation certification
  • Working experience in:
  • IT service management (ITSM)
  • IT systems management
  • IT governance
  • IT infrastructure
  • IT Networks
  • IT Security - IT quality assurance
    The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
