Your opportunity
In this exciting opportunity, the Service Management Team Leader will provide strong leadership to the Redland City Council Information Technology Service Desk to achieve efficient service delivery and effective client relationships that fully satisfy service level agreements. This role will lead and manage the support and maintenance of the service Desk, Council’s software applications and desktop environments, and Information Management’s procurement requirements in a fast paced, customer focussed environment.
Guided by our Values , you will i deally, be an experienced leader who is highly organised, has technical ability, and the skills to balance multiple priorities to support and lead your team in delivering high levels of customer service within a technical management context. Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills and conflict resolution are a must, as this role will see you liaising with clients and managing relationships with internal customers, software vendors and extension service providers.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW WHO:

Has high level of skills to provide specialist technical support in the areas of Windows desktop environments and server operating systems, including desktop infrastructure, applications & software, data communication networks and internet infrastructure.
Demonstrates achievement in leadership and managing a team delivering high levels of customer service within a technical management context.
Enjoys supporting a corporate IT environment consisting of desktop hardware, in-the-field devices and server systems with extensive experience in technical root cause analysis.
A bachelor’s degree in IT and ITIL certification is desirable, along with significant IT industry experience.
