Staria is rapidly expanding in Norway and now we’re looking for the first local Service Manager to oversee our customer experience, while also building and leading an internal team of accounting professionals. This opening presents an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting our client´s growth, scaling accounting practices and processes, all while leveraging your leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

WHAT KEY ATTRIBUTES WILL CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE?

For this position, we are looking for candidates who are located primarily in Oslo, where our new office should be in place in Augus. It would therefore be ideal if the Service Manager could join us by August/September. To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:

  • Solid experience in the field of financial administration and a deep understanding of the accounting processes of medium-sized and large companies. Experience in an accounting office environment is a big advantage.
  • Experience in customer-responsible tasks, managing customer relationships and monitoring profitability.
  • Experience in leading a team. You have the desire and ability to support people on their growth path.
  • Enthusiasm to grow and develop with Staria. You are happy to take on challenges and constantly improve your skills, your customers and our organization’s operating methods.
  • Fluent Norwegian and English language skills.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, is an advantage.

In the role as a Service Manager at Staria, you will:

  • Build and lead a team of accounting professionals. You’ll be responsible for their development and growth, spearhead recruitment efforts to expand the team, and cultivate a supportive environment that aligns with Staria’s core values of Collaboration, Courage, and Commitment. While there’s currently a small team in place, stepping into the role of Norway’s first Service Manager means you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead your own team from the ground up.
  • Implement our Great Place to Grow strategy, helping your team members shine and grow within Staria. You’ll support their growth paths by providing opportunities for taking on new challenges and deepening expertise.
  • Guide and support team members in accounting matters and client work.
  • Be responsible for operational team leadership tasks and resourcing, such as planning team vacations, workload management, and time tracking.
  • Be accountable for customer satisfaction and profitability of your client relationships. You will work with primarily domestic medium-sized to large growth companies, who might also have entities in countries outside of Norway. You will be ensuring a service model following our service standard, including various quality reports, and you take care of customer development. You promote excellent cooperation between Staria and the customer.
  • Build bridges within Staria across teams and cooperate with our ERP consulting and BI & Planning teams in accordance with the One Staria principle. You make sure that the customer is at the heart of our operations and that they get a comprehensive and high-quality service experience from Staria.Map and actively offer additional solutions to your customers. You are also involved in new customer acquisition in an expert role supporting our sales team
